With online proctoring, you get to choose the location you take your exam. There is no need to travel to a testing center or independent proctoring service. This makes becoming a Certified Food Protection Manager simple and convenient.

With online proctoring, a remote proctor can supervise exams through a webcam and microphone, allowing you to take your exam at work or from the comfort of your own home.

If you need help preparing for the exam, you can complete StateFoodSafety's ANSI-accredited Food Safety Manager Training. If you purchased the exam alone, you can skip this step.
You can schedule your exam session in advance or start a session as soon as you are ready by logging in to your StateFoodSafety account.
A proctor will monitor you via webcam and microphone throughout the exam to ensure the security of the exam. You will have two hours to complete the exam.
Once you have passed the exam, you will receive an official digital version of your certificate via email that you can print. You can also access your certificate by logging in to your StateFoodSafety account.
